Recently, the trend amongst Venice hoteliers has been to lovingly restore derelict Palaces to their former glory and open them as luxury boutique hotels; and the Liassidi Palace is a fine example of this.
Accommodation
Located in the authentic Castello district of Venice, a short walk from St. Mark’s Square and the lagoon, the entrance is from the pretty Calle della Madonna (one of our favourite restaurants ‘Oliva Nera’ is located just around the corner), through a courtyard filled with lemon and jasmine trees where drinks are served in summer. Each of the 26 bedrooms combines traditional Venetian style with some modern twists. There is a bar and buffet breakfast is served in a room overlooking the San Lorenzo canal.

*On arrival you will be met and taken by shared minibus to the landing stage at Piazzale Roma from where you will continue your journey by shared water taxi to the hotel or to the nearest landing stage. At the end of your stay the transfer will operate in reverse. Please note that this service operates between 08.00 hrs and 20.00 hrs, so if you are arriving or departing outside these times then you will be charged the supplement for a private transfer. Supplement for private water taxi transfer: £38 per person each way (min 2 passengers).
